Farmers and Their Unions

Unions were forming in the 1930s among farmers in California, protesting the rights of

their jobs to prevent them from being taken by Asian migrant workers. When the farmers took the jobs of the Asian migrants it infuriated them, and left them with low chances of jobs or money. This was because the farmers created a union, which was to protest against migrants taking their jobs.

The farmers who didn't join the union got recruited to do jobs that were painful. The

farmers had no idea what they were doing because they didn't have any training for how to do their union-less jobs. The farmers in unions had it easy while the other farmers outside the union had to fend for himself.
